• Boot code, device driver development

Immediate full-time opening for a Senior Project/Program Manager. The successful candidate will have key responsibilities serving as the primary interface managing cross-functional deliverables and NPI activities. Key tasks include coordinating, tracking, and driving deliverables, establishing process and operational infrastructure, serving as the liaison for select external partners into Ruckus internal functional groups, coordinating activities between internal functional groups for major product releases, and managing weekly reporting to executive management.

Previous experience in managing geographically distributed teams required with relevant experience in a data communications/network equipment OEM environment. Extensive experience in hardware/software product development with a track record of successfully shipping commercial products in volume is needed. The ideal candidate would also have previous experience in a marketing or sales-related roles.

Detailed responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate all program management activities ensuring that appropriate communications takes place across internal functional groups and with external partners as applicable
• Define program specific requirements and deliverables
• Tactical focal point for all program-related activities
• Drive schedule development and rationalization
• Host, organize & participate in project meetings & conference calls, record meeting minutes and actions
• Drive to closure program issues related to day to day activities among multiple programs
• Communicate status & issues to management in a timely manner. Escalate issues appropriately
• Track, update & monitor project summary dashboard
• Conduct regular program review meetings

Required qualifications:

• Proven capability for successfully leading a distributed team in fast paced startup environment

Looking for Software QA Engineers capable of designing, developing, executing and automating test cases in 802.11 wireless products based on IEEE standards.

Candidates should be capable to develop and document detail test plans based on the functional and technical specifications. She/he should have good communicate skill to interface with developers, customer supports and field engineers. Those who have passion for technologies, self-motivated and willing to work under aggressive schedules are preferred.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of QA Engineering, network design, software, or systems test resulting in the successful delivery of quality Wi-Fi products.
• Good domain knowledge in 802.11 wireless products and Wi-Fi certification experience. RF indoor propagation and antenna characterization experience is a plus.
• Experience with LAN switching, Routing protocols, TCP/IP, NAT, IGMP, QoS.
• Experience with wireless networking tools and performance evaluation utilities. Familiar with network analyzers such as Sniffer, EtherPeek, EtherReal, AiroPeek and able to analysis the captured data.
• Experience with script language Python, Tcl/Tk for automation system development.
• Experience with testing lab planning, media server, video server setup is a plus.
• Be able to communicate, verbally and in written form, with team members and co-workers. Be able to write clear procedures, bug descriptions and test reports.

Education:

• BS or BA in CS, EE, IS, Math or equivalent.
