Embedded Software Engineer
Taipei Design Center of Ruckus Wireless, based in Sunnyvale, California, is currently recruiting for Software Engineers for network software development on embedded Linux platform.
Position Requirements:
Successful candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge and/or experience in embedded Linux development and real-time O.S.
- Strong networking background in bridging, IP routing, NAT, VLAN, DHCP, and related protocols
- Experience on 802.11/Wi-Fi area and knowledge on authentication protocols (RADIUS, LDAP) are preferred
- Working experience on Linux footprint size and performance optimization is a plus
- Knowledge on Linux build environment optimization is a plus
- Working experience on Web GUI (HTML/XML/JavaScript) or network management (SNMP/TR069) is a plus
- Minimum of 2-5 years experience on embedded software development
- Minimum of 2 years experience on networking products development
- Good communication skills in English
- BS/BA in CS/EE or equivalent
JAVA Software Engineer
Ruckus Wireless is seeking Software Engineers to work on carrier-grade network management product. We are using many front-end technologies in this product to make this product flexible and scalable. Job Qualification:
- Familiar with networking protocols: LAN switching, NAT, DHCP & TCP/IP
- Understand the basic of Wi-Fi theory
- Experienced in TCL/TK/Python/Linux scripting
- Able to develop and execute test plans based on functional specs
