- Steve Martin Vice President of Engineering
With more than 15 years of engineering experience in the networking industry with Airespace (acquired by Cisco), 3Com, and US Robotics Corporation, Steve is an expert in networking hardware and software design and development, as well as lifecycle product management. He’s a wily veteran at developing state-of-the-art wireless technologies, then successfully bringing them to market. Before joining Ruckus, Steve was an engineering executive with Cisco's wireless networking group, which acquired Airespace where he was VP of Hardware and Engineering. He also held several senior management positions with CommWorks Corporation, which was acquired by UTStarcom in 2003. And yes, people always ask him if he's somehow related to THAT Steve Martin. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and received a Master of Science in Telecommunications Systems from DePaul University. He drives really fast Corvettes and likes racy things.
