To remotely manage these products, FlexMaster™ provides advanced capabilities to control and administer Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi access points and Smart WLAN systems. Completely standards-based, all Ruckus products integrate patented Smart Wi-Fi technology that allows for real-time selection of the best signal path for each Wi-Fi transmission, automatic interference avoidance and extended range.

ZoneFlex

Ruckus’ flagship product line, ZoneFlex is the industry’s first centrally-controlled Smart WLAN system. ZoneFlex fills a market gap between high-end costly and complex WLAN switching systems and cheap, low-end consumer-grade solutions.

ZoneFlex is a simple, yet feature-rich WLAN system designed specifically for enterprises needing an easy-to-use Wi-Fi system that is reliable and extensible. ZoneFlex uniquely combines powerful smart antenna array technology, wireless meshing and advanced security features at a low total cost of ownership.

The ZoneFlex line includes high-density ZoneFlex 802.11b/g/n Smart Wi-Fi access points and the ZoneDirector line of Smart LAN controllers that manage from six to up to 250 APs. MediaFlex

Installed in hundreds of thousands of locations around the world, the Ruckus MediaFlex is the world’s most popular and best selling carrier customer premise equipment (CPE) for reliable triple-play distribution over standard 802.11 technology.

Designed specifically for service providers, the Ruckus MediaFlex is the first carrier-class multimedia networking and wireless services platform to deliver consistent, picture-perfect multimedia distribution over standard 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi.

The Ruckus MediaFlex family of products includes the MediaFlex multimedia router and the Ruckus MediaFlex multimedia adapter.

The Ruckus MediaFlex router attaches to any broadband gateway and communicates with any standard 802.11a/b/g/n end station. The Ruckus MediaFlex multimedia wireless adapter provides Wi-Fi connectivity to set-top boxes and other media devices. Self-installable, the Ruckus MediaFlex adapter can be auto-configured over Ethernet by the router.

FlexMaster

The FlexMaster Management System is the industry’s only complete management platform for building and managing carrier-grade Wi-Fi service infrastructures.

FlexMaster lets any enterprise or service provider remotely manage individual Ruckus MediaFlex or ZoneFlex access points as well as ZoneFlex WLANs over any private, public or hybrid IP wide area network. With a simple click of the mouse, companies can upgrade all Ruckus access points, ZoneDirector controllers or groups of devices.

FlexMaster lets companies create unique configuration parameters on a bulk basis and load different versions of firmware for each group of devices.
